| Area | Documented capability |
|---|---|
| Normalized timeline | Store markers as percentages so they follow clip length and playback speed. |
| Notifies | Run a point event when the playhead crosses a configured position. |
| Windows | Run enter and exit logic across a configured range. |
| Sections and branches | Divide playback into named areas and choose a path at runtime. |
| Transform tracks | Apply eased position, rotation, or scale changes to a target. |
| Playback modes | Play temporary Gestures or sustained States with entry and exit transitions. |
| Integrations | Use Game Creator 2 visual scripting or the documented C# surface. |
Use a montage when an animation needs synchronized events, range logic, branching, spatial alignment, or a sustained stance with transition phases. For a simple animation without timed logic, use the regular Game Creator 2 Gesture or State workflow.
